After deleting the app from the ipad in my attempt to reinstall, it shows "Root Certificate" manual installation of the trusted certificate on the ipad it gives the following conclusion. I managed to install avast VPN secureline on an ipad first generation, version 5.1.1 (PB206) and for a while it worked fine, however after initiating a wifi connection to 5.0 from 2.4, it stopped working.
